Cosmetic tattoo removal and lightening support for PMU artists in Brisbane, with coordinated planning and clear communication.

For PMU Artists

I work alongside PMU artists in Brisbane when a client needs cosmetic tattoo removal or lightening before re-tattooing, correction, or a style change. From my clinic in Everton Park, I support referrals for brow tattoo removal, lip tattoo removal, eyeliner tattoo removal and scalp micropigmentation removal with a conservative approach that prioritises skin integrity, clear communication and coordinated planning.

I hold a Diploma of Cosmetic Tattooing and have 6+ years’ experience as a cosmetic tattooist. I no longer tattoo. This background means I understand cosmetic pigment, healed results, colour shifts and what artists need before re-tattooing across brows, lips, eyeliner and scalp micropigmentation.

  • Full cosmetic tattoo removal

  • Lightening for re-tattoo or correction

  • Managing colour shifts (grey, red, yellow, ashy tones)

  • Layered work and touch-up history

  • Conservative planning for best skin outcomes

What I can support you with

How referrals work

1. Send your client the relevant assessment form

Choose the assessment form that matches the treatment area: brows, eyeliner, lips or scalp micropigmentation. Your client will provide photographs, tattoo history and their intended outcome.

2. Emma reviews the case

Emma reviews the information and advises the appropriate next step. This may include a consultation, patch test, approved treatment booking or referral to another treatment pathway.

3. Treatment is coordinated with the future tattooing plan

With the client’s consent, Emma can provide progress photographs and treatment updates to help you determine when sufficient lightening has been achieved and when the area may be ready for reassessment.

Communication after each session

With client consent, I email the PMU artist after every session with:

  • Clinical photos (pre-treatment and immediate post-treatment)

  • What was performed and the observed response

  • Recommended next steps and review timing

  • Notes to support safe planning before re-tattooing

This keeps the process collaborative and supports better outcomes for the client.
